Award-winning Pauline McCabe is the powerhouse art director behind Rock Paper Scissors Hair Studio.
A stylist, educator, art director and mentor, Pauline has worked on world Fashion Week shows around the world, including Paris Haute Couture, London, New York, Milan, Melbourne and Sydney - for an impressive list of international designers including Hugo Boss, Burberry and Valentino.
Pauline offers her invaluable mentorship to young creatives through a range of education workshops.
With 19 years of experience behind the chair, Jasmin Montau’t Moreton Kidd brings a rare blend of creative instinct, technical precision, and honest energy to her work. Part of the creative team at Rock Paper Scissors, Jasmin specialises in creative colour and architectural cutting that transforms not just appearances—but the way people carry themselves.
Known for her sculptural, intuitive approach to cutting, Jasmin treats hair like architecture: it’s all about structure, movement, and harmony with natural texture. Her colour work is equally fearless—bold, expressive, and always designed with purpose.
Jasmin’s artistry has been recognised at the highest levels of the industry. She has been named a finalist for several prestigious awards, including AHFA WA/NT Hairdresser of the Year (2021 & 2022), AHFA Creative Colourist of the Year (2023), and LIVE Creative Colourist of the Year (2024). Her career has taken her international, onto the pages of top fashion magazines, backstage at Fashion Weeks, and into classrooms where she shares her skills with stylists across the country.
Whether she’s crafting a high-impact transformation or teaching Pilates on her days off, Jasmin is all about helping people feel powerful, aligned, and truly seen.
Joel brings over a decade of experience to the salon floor. He trained at Vidal Sassoon in London and has worked alongside some of the UK’s most respected hairdressers. His specialty lies in precision cutting — crafting shapes that are both modern and effortless, designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life.
He’s been honoured with three national awards and continues to push his craft forward through advanced training, industry courses, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Beyond the chair, Joel is passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of hairdressers, helping them build strong technical foundations and creative confidence.
For Joel, great hair is all about simplicity, wearability, and elevating natural beauty with a fresh, practical edge.
Joy will be back in the salon on Mondays and every third Saturday starting from 11th April.
From braiding her siblings’ hair as a kid to creating lived-in colour transformations today, Ella’s love for hairdressing has always come naturally. What started as a joyful way to connect with others has grown into a passionate career built on creativity, confidence, and connection. She loves making her clients feel at ease in the chair—often with a good chat and plenty of laughs.
Fun, energetic, and creative, Ella enjoys every aspect of hair—from cuts to colour to styling—but lived-in colour is her true specialty. She’s all about enhancing natural beauty, focusing on healthy hair and custom tones that complement each client’s unique features and lifestyle.
Outside of the salon floor, Ella is also the creative force behind much of our social media and fashion shoots. She loves showcasing the team’s work, capturing beautiful moments, and bringing the Rock Paper Scissors vibe to life online.
Her kit is packed with holy grail products like Olaplex No.6, Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair, O&M PS Balm, and her go-tos from Natalie Anne. Inspired by everything and everyone around her, Ella thrives when she’s in her element—especially when working with her regulars and letting the creativity flow.

Effortless, sun-kissed, and natural — that's the vibe you'll find in Liv's chair. She started hairdressing at 15, drawn to the incredible power of helping someone feel more confident just by changing their hair.
She's all about lived-in, low-maintenance colour that looks like it was made by the sun, and she's currently obsessed with big, bouncy blowouts full of volume and movement.
You’ll always find Liv reaching for Kevin Murphy favourites like Young Again, Antigravity, and Bedroom Hair — the dream team for soft texture, weightless volume, and an effortless finish.

She’s currently building her clientele and loves creating beautiful colour transformations and polished blow-drys. Abby is also excited to continue expanding her skills, with a keen interest in hair extensions and learning new techniques to elevate her work. Friendly and enthusiastic, Abby looks forward to welcoming new clients into her chair.

Lucy is a second-year apprentice at Rock Paper Scissors with a growing passion for all things hair. Eager to learn and always hands-on, she brings enthusiasm and care to every task—from assisting senior stylists to supporting clients in the salon. With a love for creativity and a keen eye for detail, Lucy is excited to continue developing her skills and carving out her own signature style. Her journey is just beginning, and she’s already making her mark with a warm personality and a willingness to learn.
